There is something extra special about engagement sessions. It's that little pause between “Will you marry me?” and “I do.”
A chance to slow down, soak it all in, and celebrate the person you've chosen to do life with. Keemondre and Kelsey met me in Albion, Michigan for a golden-hour engagement session surrounded by wildflowers, open fields, and the kind of summer evening photographers dream about.
From the quiet moments wrapped up in each other's arms to the laughs, dancing through the field, and all those little in-between glances—you can just feel how comfortable they are together. And can we talk about the cowboy hat for a second? 🔥 Because once that thing came out, the whole session took on a little extra personality, and I was absolutely here for it.
One of my favorite things about engagement sessions is getting to know my couples before the wedding day. By the time August rolls around and these two say “I do” in Parma, Michigan, we'll already have spent time together, laughed together, and gotten all the awkward “what do I do with my hands?” moments out of the way. (Spoiler alert: there weren't many awkward moments with these two.)
Keemondre and Kelsey, thank you for trusting me to capture this season of your story. Your session was full of sweetness, laughter, and the kind of genuine connection that doesn't need much direction.
Now the countdown is officially on for your August wedding in Parma! I cannot wait to celebrate with you both and capture the next chapter of your story. ❤️
